City Island in Harrisburg Pa on June 23, 1984 - the whole show was pretty disjointed and Jerry was pretty hit or miss throughout. And to top it off they played Day Job which I certainly could have lived without hearing. All in all might be their worst show ever ( given a choice I would still go ) and the worst song ever - Day Job - by a landslide!

In hindsight it is a pretty bad show. At the time it was only my 2nd show, so didn't really have much point of reference. Merriweather shows a few days later were much better. Shame the show was so lame as I thought City Island was a pretty cool venue!!

I remember that show as the worst I attended, reflecting events personally as well as musically. I don't remember feeling any kind of rythym felt at most other shows. My first love was there - spitting in my general direction, me and buddy had bad powders, lost lots of money; the car, I coudn't find my ass for a hole in the ground. When I got home to N Jersey the next day I kicked off my shoes and the cash was where I had hid it the night before... Now I fondly look back on how bad it was.
